At New Haven Ministries, community is at the heart of our mission. We believe that gathering together as a church is essential for spiritual growth and mutual encouragement. The Scriptures remind us of this beautiful truth:
Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV) teaches us, “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25. not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Matthew 18:20 (NIV) assures us, “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
Psalm 133:1 (NIV) celebrates unity: “How good and pleasant it is
when God’s people live together in unity!”
Acts 2:42 (NIV)records the early church’s devotion: “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”
Monthly Sunday Night Gathering
Once a month, our congregation comes together for an evening of testimonies, poetry, prayer, singing, and a shared dinner. This cherished event gives us the opportunity to reflect on our journey, celebrate God’s work in our lives, and strengthen the bonds that unite us as a community.
